Jennifer Micofsky -Jennifer's journey as a vocalist began as a teenager, singing a variety of popular music. As her talents progressed, so did her ambitions and taste. After a brief stint at the famous Philadelphia-based Walnut Street Theater, her path lead to seeking formal institutional training at Rowan University. It was here as a student of opera and vocal performance that she experienced her first taste of professional stage craft, performing selections from operas La Boheme and Euridice and Orfeo. At this juncture, she studied under such prestigious vocal coaches as Bonita Granite, Marian Stieber, and Georgyn Geetlein. Meanwhile, she was also working extensively with grammy award-winning Dr. Robert Page and the University concert choir. After relocating to Los Angeles, her vocal talents were refined further with the assistance of Renee Sousa, a regular performer with the Los Angeles Opera Compnay. She currently splits her time between collaborating with film and tv composers on multimedia products, live performances, and teaching vocal lessons. Jennifer loves teaching students and helping further develop their craft.
